Our History
Inlightened Ministries has a long history of leading worship — even before we had a live band. The Jonathan Project started after one of our team members took a position as a full-time youth minister at a church. We were at a crossroads and searching for God’s direction. After much prayer we began a worship band internship program. After two successful groups of interns we knew that we needed to move our band members toward more stable, full-time salary positions in order to continue with the same level of excellence. This move happened in August of 2007. Since that time The Jonathan Project has taken on various forms and ministry opportunities. We have served as the cadence of Rhythm (a local college/young adult ministry) as well as the worship leaders at Genesis Community Church in Roanoke, VA, all the time traveling to minister to students wherever God directs.
